A Gears of War: E-Day controller that is the standard XBOX Wireless Controller underneath, so the extra you pay over a plain one buys the design, not different hardware.

A Gears player on XBOX Series X|S: the Crimson Omen, the E-hole cracks and the COG tag are marks from the game, printed and moulded into the shell rather than added as a sticker.
A PC player: Bluetooth pairs it with no adapter, while XBOX Wireless on PC needs the separate XBOX Wireless Adapter and wired play needs your own USB-C cable.
Battery choice: it takes two standard AA cells, so rechargeable NiMH AAs or the XBOX rechargeable pack swap in, and the 40-hour figure moves with whatever cells you use.
If you want back paddles or adjustable stick tension, this is the wrong pick: those sit on the XBOX Elite Series 2, and this edition has neither.
