Pokémon TCG Temporal Forces Set Guide: 218 Cards, Products and Prices

Pokémon TCG: Temporal Forces released on March 22, 2024. Its official card list runs to 218 cards, every card numbered over 162. It brings ACE SPEC cards back to the game: six Trainer cards and one Special Energy. Walking Wake ex and Raging Bolt ex join the Ancient Pokémon, Iron Leaves ex and Iron Crown ex the Future ones, and Wugtrio and Farigiraf appear as Tera Pokémon ex. Gastly 177/162, an Illustration Rare, is €78. Below: the ACE SPEC cards, the Special Illustration Rares, and every product with its market price.

Rotation and Standard play

Standard legality follows the regulation mark printed on each card, whatever set it came from. Cards with the G mark left the Standard format on March 26, 2026 on Pokémon TCG Live and on April 10, 2026 at in-person events. Cards with the H, I and J marks stay legal. Expanded still covers the Black & White Series onward.

The set that brought ACE SPEC back

ACE SPEC cards were first released in 2012, in Boundaries Crossed, a Black & White Series expansion. Temporal Forces brings them back with a newly defined ACE SPEC rarity, Ancient and Future ACE SPEC cards, and the return of a classic one, Master Ball. The one caveat: you can't have more than one ACE SPEC card in your deck.

Neo Upper Energy 162/162 is the ACE SPEC Special Energy, €11.

More Paradox Pokémon arrive. Gouging Fire ex and Iron Boulder ex make their Pokémon TCG debut as Pokémon ex, alongside Walking Wake ex, Raging Bolt ex, Iron Leaves ex and Iron Crown ex. Paradox Rift brought Ancient and Future cards into the game.

The Special Illustration Rares and the cards worth naming

On the official card list the Special Illustration Rares run 203 to 212, and every one is below. With them are two Illustration Rares, among them Gastly 177/162, where Gastly and a large group of Ghost-type Pokémon march through a dark city. Filter by rarity, tap to zoom.
