The Garmin Edge 1050, part number 010-02890-00, is Garmin's flagship cycling computer. It measures 60.2 x 118.5 x 16.3 mm, weighs 161 g and carries a 3.5 inch (88.9 mm) diagonal colour touchscreen at 480 x 800 pixels, rated IPX7. The rechargeable lithium-ion battery runs up to 20 hours in demanding use and up to 60 hours in battery save mode. Positioning uses multi-band GNSS across GPS, GLONASS and Galileo with 5 Hz recording, backed by a barometric altimeter, gyroscope, accelerometer, magnetometer and ambient light sensor. Connectivity covers Bluetooth, ANT+ and Wi-Fi, with 64 GB of internal memory holding preloaded maps, worldwide Trailforks trail data, 200 waypoints, 100 courses and up to 200 hours of history. Garmin Pay, GroupRide with rider-to-rider messaging, incident detection, LiveTrack, an integrated bike bell and a built-in speaker are included, and the device pairs with iPhone and Android.
