The Forerunner 265 puts Garmin's full training analytics on a bright AMOLED touchscreen. Training readiness scores tell you how prepared you are to train productively each morning, drawing on sleep, recovery, HRV status and training load. Training status shows whether your current effort is productive, and daily suggested workouts adapt to your recent performance and recovery. Sleep score and insights break down the night before, and Garmin Coach builds free adaptive 5K, 10K and half marathon plans that adjust as you go.
Multi-band GNSS holds position in tree cover and between buildings. Store up to 500 songs on the watch and pair Bluetooth headphones to run without your phone. Garmin Pay handles contactless payments at the finish line, and safety and tracking features send your live location to chosen contacts. Battery life reaches up to 13 days in smartwatch mode and up to 20 hours in GPS mode.

The Garmin Forerunner 265, part number 010-02810-00, is the 46 mm case with a black bezel and a black and powder grey silicone band. The case measures 46.1 x 46.1 x 12.9 mm, weighs 47 g and fits wrists from 135 to 205 mm. The 1.3 inch (32.5 mm) AMOLED touchscreen runs at 416 x 416 pixels with an optional always-on mode, behind Corning Gorilla Glass 3 in a fibre-reinforced polymer bezel, rated 5 ATM. Bands are 22 mm industry-standard quick release. Battery life runs up to 13 days in smartwatch mode, up to 20 hours in GPS-only GNSS mode, up to 16 hours in SatIQ mode and up to 14 hours in all-systems GNSS with multi-band, dropping to 6 to 7 hours with music. Storage is 8 GB. Health tracking covers wrist heart rate, Pulse Ox, respiration rate, HRV status, Body Battery, all-day stress, advanced sleep with sleep coach and nap detection, and Health Snapshot.
