What Ninja Spinner is about
The set takes its name from the attack on Mega Greninja ex 022/083, ニンジャスピナー. Underneath sit the Kalos first partners, all three lines complete in the main set: ハリマロン / Chespin to ブリガロン / Chesnaught at 005 to 007, フォッコ / Fennekin to マフォクシー / Delphox at 011 to 013, and ケロマツ / Froakie to Mega Greninja ex at 020 to 022, the only line that ends on a Mega. Mega Floette ex, the アンジュフラエッテ Stadium, プリズムタワー / Prism Tower, AZの安らぎ / AZ's Tranquility and ゼルネアス / Xerneas round it out.
The four Mega Evolution ex
Four メガシンカex appear, one per type, under the block's defining rule: when one is Knocked Out, the opponent takes three Prize cards.
| Card | No. | Type and Stage | HP | Illustrator |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| メガカエンジシex / Mega Pyroar ex | 015/083 | Fire · Stage 1 from Litleo | 340 | Keisuke Azuma |

Mega Greninja ex pressures from two directions. Its Ability ひっさつしゅりけん, once during your turn while it is Active, lets you discard a Basic Water Energy from your hand to put six damage counters on one of the opponent's Pokémon; its attack does 120, or 200 if you return an attached Energy to your hand. Mega Floette ex is a Basic, at 035/083. Mega Dragalge ex's attack discards every Pokémon Tool and Special Energy attached to the opponent's Pokémon. Mega Pyroar ex is the one Mega here with no Special Art Rare.
New Trainers, Stadiums and Special Energy
Cards 072 to 083 are the main set's Trainers and Special Energy: three Items, four Supporters, two Stadiums and three Special Energy.

The three Special Energy sit at Rare: 081 ニトロ炎エネルギー returns to hand if its own Pokémon's attack discards it, 082 バブル水エネルギー blocks all Special Conditions, 083 マグネット鋼エネルギー zeroes Retreat Cost.
変化の書 can only be played as two copies at once, for one effect. アンジュフラエッテ can only be played by discarding a プリズムタワー already in play, and it can come down the same turn the Tower did.

The Golisopod illustration erratum
On May 29, 2026, over two months after release, The Pokémon Company published a notice titled 拡張パック「ニンジャスピナー」収録カードのイラスト誤りについて. The illustration of グソクムシャ / Golisopod 026/083, by Takeshi Nakamura, has an error in its body: 「グソクムシャの胴体のラインについて、正しくは2本となります。」 The lines on its body should number two. The card stays legal including official tournaments, and no exchange is offered: 「本件に関する商品、カードの交換対応は承っておりません」.
The notice corrects the illustration and declines any exchange. It says nothing about corrected reprints. For an error that did come with an exchange, see the Mega Attack Rare surface-finish notice in our MEGA Dream ex guide.
