Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Perfect Order released March 27, 2026 with 124 cards — 88 main set plus 36 secrets numbered 089/088 to 124/088 — and the code printed on the cards is POR, not ME03. It is the English release of Japan's Nihil Zero, built around Mega Zygarde ex, a Basic Pokémon with 310 HP, the highest ever printed on a tournament-legal Basic. Four months on, the market is the story: raw chases are down 8% to 50% since launch, PSA 10s 46% to 67% below their March and April peaks, boxes 17% in a month.

Mega Zygarde ex, 310 HP, and what Nullifying Zero actually is
Mega Zygarde ex is a Fighting-type Basic with 310 HP by takuyoa, printed at 047/088 as a Double Rare and again at 104, 120 and 124. Being a Basic at that HP is the point: no evolution line, no setup turn. The counterweight is the Mega Evolution ex rule — knocked out, it gives up three Prizes.
It has two attacks. Gaia Wave costs three Fighting Energy for 200 damage and cuts damage taken next turn by 30. Nullifying Zero costs five and has no fixed number: flip a coin for each of the opponent's Pokémon, every heads dealing 150 damage to it, Weakness and Resistance ignored on the Bench. Against a full board, a theoretical 900 across six targets.
The English set is Perfect Order. The Japanese set it comes from is Nihil Zero, released January 23, 2026, whose Japanese name is ムニキスゼロ. Nullifying Zero is neither — it is Mega Zygarde ex's second attack, English printing's localisation of that same Japanese phrase. Write-ups that call the set "Nullifying Zero" are carrying an attack name across.
Three other Megas appear: Mega Starmie ex at 330 HP (021, 102, 118), Mega Clefable ex at 320 HP (031, 103, 119) and Mega Skarmory ex at 260 HP. Skarmory is the outlier — 055 and 106 only, no Special Illustration Rare. Decidueye ex, Salazzle ex, Lapras ex, Yveltal ex and Meowth ex fill out the nine Double Rares.

One pattern explains much of the price gap. The Pokémon full-art Ultra Rares are studio work — 5ban Graphics drew 100, 101, 102, 105, 106 and 107, aky CG Works 103 — while every Special Illustration Rare carries a named individual artist. The lone exception is Mega Zygarde ex's Ultra Rare 104, by takuyoa. Cona Nitanda drew both Clefairy 094 and Mega Clefable ex 119.
The 88-card main set is 44 Commons, 24 Uncommons, 11 Rares and 9 Double Rares, every Double Rare a Pokémon ex. The 36 secrets run 089 to 124: 11 Illustration Rares, 18 Ultra Rares, 6 Special Illustration Rares and one Mega Hyper Rare. Two tiers collectors look for are absent — zero Mega Attack Rares, zero gold Hyper Rares. The one gold-bordered card is #124, whose rarity line reads Mega Hyper Rare. Pack art is four variants by akagi; the logo is Adam Law.
What the market has done since March
Perfect Order never ran hot. Wargamer's April 3, 2026 coverage recorded it as findable at retail and ignored by scalpers, boxes near $200 USD against roughly $300 for Mega Evolution. Raw figures are PriceCharting, USD. The July PSA 10 column is the median of individually dated July sales; the peak column is PriceCharting's monthly graded series, which topped out in April for every card here except 120, which peaked in March.

The gold Mega Zygarde ex 124 and Meowth ex 121 are tied near $132 USD and nothing else in the base set clears $65 — a 170 HP Basic cat trades level with the only gold card. Neither is the set's most valuable obtainable card.
That is Gengar 050/088, a Pixel Cosmos Holofoil promo given away free with a $15 purchase at GameStop. It trades at $137.02 USD raw, with PSA 10s at $890.00 on July 22, 23 and 24, 2026, after $991.00 on July 21 — more than a PSA 10 of the set's own gold. Its EB Games twin, sold in Canada, Australia and New Zealand, trades at $108.42 raw, and its four recorded PSA 10 sales fall monotonically from $1,759.00 on June 15 to $1,242.00 on July 6. A Judge 076 regional staff promo shows $335.76 raw on very thin data, but it is not obtainable at retail.
Sealed followed. On PriceCharting's monthly USD series, boxes went $203.88 in March to $186.48 in July, 17.1% of that in the last month; ETBs $77.00 to $66.00; bundles $42.05 to $38.33. July eBay medians: $182.50 a box across 37 sales, $65.99 an ETB across 35.
In Canadian dollars, Quaza Track reads $242.42 a booster box and $103.33 an ETB on July 24, 2026, the four tracked products averaging −4.6% on the week. Against that: Mega Evolution at $458.85 CAD and Phantasmal Flames at $584.15 CAD, both out of print. The era's dividing line is print status, not card quality — the 2026 sets still printing sit between $242 and $297 CAD.

Where Perfect Order sits in the Mega Evolution block
Perfect Order is the English release of Japan's third MEGA-series expansion. The English set is larger at 124, so it is not a one-to-one reprint — it adds two Gym promos and reprinted Trainers, and upgraded Aurorus, Tyrantrum and Gengar to rare holo. Six cards still carry the older I regulation mark rather than J: Lapras ex 022, Hole-Digging Shovel 074, Energy Recycler 108, Forest of Vitality 109, Sacred Ash 115, Wondrous Patch 117.

And a widely circulated summary calls the set's top card "Mega Zygarde ex Mega Ultra Rare #117"; card 117 is Wondrous Patch, worth $2.73 USD.
