The Airthings Corentium Home is a battery-powered digital radon detector. This is the Bq/m³ version that Airthings sells in Canada, EAN 7090031102227. The screen reads in becquerels per cubic metre (Bq/m³), the unit Health Canada uses. It does not switch to pCi/L, the unit most US radon guidance uses. One pCi/L equals 37 Bq/m³. The screen shows a short term average and a long term average. Air enters a passive diffusion chamber, and the detector counts radon by alpha spectrometry. The range is 0 to 9,999 Bq/m³. Airthings states accuracy of about 10% after 7 days and about 5% after 2 months, at 200 Bq/m³. It runs on 3 AAA alkaline batteries (LR03), included, for up to 2 years. It has no app and no wireless connection. It measures 120 x 69 x 25.5 mm and weighs 130 g with batteries. It works from 4 to 40°C at under 85% relative humidity. Airthings has discontinued the Corentium Home. Its successor is the Corentium Home 2. Ships brand new and factory sealed from Toronto, Canada.
