Pokémon TCG Twilight Masquerade Set Guide: Greninja ex, Cards and Prices

Pokémon TCG: Twilight Masquerade released on May 24, 2024. Its official card list runs to 226 cards, every card numbered over 167. It is set in the land of Kitakami, where the masked Legendary Pokémon Ogerpon appears as four types of Tera Pokémon ex. Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex and Sinistcha ex are new, and Greninja, Dragapult and Magcargo appear as Tera Pokémon ex. Greninja ex 214/167, a Special Illustration Rare, is £188. Rotation and Standard play

Standard legality follows the regulation mark printed on each card, whatever set it came from. Cards with the G mark left the Standard format on March 26, 2026 on Pokémon TCG Live and on April 10, 2026 at in-person events. Cards with the H, I and J marks stay legal. Expanded still covers the Black & White Series onward.

Four masks, one Pokémon

The setting is Kitakami, from The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 1: The Teal Mask. Ogerpon appears four times as a Tera Pokémon ex, each a different type, so each needs different Energy types.

The Item that ties them together is Ogre's Mask 159/167. It switches which Ogerpon ex is on your team, giving you full control of their Abilities and attacks.

For the Energy, there is the ACE SPEC Legacy Energy 167/167, which gives every type of Energy to whichever Ogerpon ex you have in play.

More ACE SPEC cards round out the set: Hyper Aroma 152, Scoop Up Cyclone 162, Secret Box 163, Survival Brace 164, Unfair Stamp 165 and Legacy Energy 167. You can't have more than one ACE SPEC card in your deck.

Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex has the Seasoned Skill Ability, which turns the tables on an opponent who has taken several Prize cards. Okidogi, Munkidori and Fezandipiti, the Heroes of Kitakami, have Adrena Abilities that use Darkness-type Energy. Greninja ex 106/167 and Dragapult ex 130/167 are among the Tera Pokémon ex.

The Special Illustration Rares and the cards worth naming

On the official card list the Special Illustration Rares run 210 to 220, and every one is below, with Illustration Rares, Hyper Rares and the main-set Teal Mask Ogerpon ex. Greninja ex 214/167 is £188. Perrin 220/167 is £108, Eevee 188/167 £52, Carmine 217/167 £32 and Chansey 187/167 £32. The Ogerpon mask Special Illustration Rares, Teal Mask 211, Hearthflame 212, Wellspring 213 and Cornerstone 215, are £15, £7.68, £11 and £8.39.
