Pokémon TCG Surging Sparks: All 252 Cards, Pikachu ex Prices & Products

Pokémon TCG: Surging Sparks released on November 8, 2024. Pikachu ex leads it as a Stellar Tera Pokémon ex with its Topaz Bolt attack, alongside Alolan Exeggutor ex in its Stellar form, Latias ex and Archaludon ex. The top single is Pikachu ex 238/191, the Special Illustration Rare, £190. Pikachu ex appears on the card list at 057, 219, 238 and 247, so the number tells them apart. The Pikachu ex cards

Pikachu ex appears on the card list as a Double Rare at 057/191, an Ultra Rare at 219/191, the Special Illustration Rare at 238/191 and a Hyper Rare at 247/191. Alolan Exeggutor ex appears at 133, 225, 242 and 248.

Pikachu ex 238/191 is £190, Pikachu ex 247/191 £51, Pikachu ex 219/191 £19 and Pikachu ex 057/191 £3.97.

Topaz Bolt has a unique Energy cost. Magneton's Overvolt Discharge Ability can attach any type of Basic Energy to your Pokémon, which makes that cost easier to meet, and once Topaz Bolt discards all the Energy, another Magneton can bring it back.

How the card list is built

The official card list numbers the main set 001 to 191 and the secret rares past it to 252. Illustration Rares run 192 to 214 and Ultra Rares 215 to 235. Special Illustration Rares are 236 to 246, and the Hyper Rares close the list at 247 to 252.

The set has nine Stellar Tera Pokémon ex and nine Pokémon ex. Sylveon ex 086, Palossand ex 091 and Flygon ex 106 are among the new Tera Pokémon ex, with Pikachu ex 057 and Alolan Exeggutor ex 133.

ACE SPEC cards are limited to one per deck, and Surging Sparks has eight: Amulet of Hope 162, Brilliant Blender 164, Energy Search Pro 176, Megaton Blower 182, Miracle Headset 183, Precious Trolley 185, Scramble Switch 186 and Enriching Energy 191. Megaton Blower discards all Pokémon Tools and Special Energy from your opponent's Pokémon, and Precious Trolley searches your deck for any number of Basic Pokémon and puts them onto your Bench.
