Japan's pack price rose from 180円 to 200円 here

The official notice 「一部商品価格改定のお知らせ」, posted January 30, 2026, sets the 希望小売価格, the suggested retail price, of expansion packs released from May 2026 at 200円 tax included, up from 180円, citing 原材料費の高騰, a surge in raw-material costs. Each MEGA set page states its own price.

Every pack above holds 5 cards. Abyss Eye is the first in the table at 200円.

ばけがくれ blocks the opponent's effects

The set mechanic is the Ability 特性「ばけがくれ」. The Japanese card reads 「このポケモンは、相手のワザや特性の効果を受けない。」: the Pokémon with it is unaffected by the effects of the opponent's attacks and Abilities.

In the main set, four Pokémon have it, as two evolution lines: チャデス / Poltchageist 005 into ヤバソチャ / Sinistcha 006, and カゲボウズ / Shuppet 031 into ジュペッタ / Banette 032.

Four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex and Rampardos ex

Abyss Eye has four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex: メガゼラオラex / Mega Zeraora ex 026, メガシャンデラex / Mega Chandelure ex 036, メガダークライex / Mega Darkrai ex 046 and メガドリュウズex / Mega Excadrill ex 063. ラムパルドex / Rampardos ex 043 is a Pokémon ex. Attack and Ability names below are as printed on the Japanese cards.

The other Pokémon ex: ラランテスex 004, ホエルオーex 015 and モルペコex 053.

When any of the four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex is Knocked Out, the opponent takes three Prize cards. Mega Darkrai ex's second attack shares the set's name: アビスアイ costs three Darkness Energy and Knocks Out the opponent's Active Pokémon if it is affected by a Special Condition. ダークベル 070 is an Item that Confuses both Active Pokémon, except Darkness Pokémon.
