Pokémon TCG Delta Reign: Set Guide, Mega Rayquaza ex Card Details & Product Lineup

On November 6, 2026, the Mega Evolution era's sixth main expansion arrives: Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution: Delta Reign, the English release of Japan's Storm Emeralda. The set brings back one of the most demanded cards in the game's history: Mega Rayquaza ex, appearing for the first time since the XY era, when M Rayquaza-EX starred in 2015's Roaring Skies. It also debuts a mechanic the TCG has not attempted since the HeartGold & SoulSilver LEGEND cards: a Stadium printed in two halves that must be played together. Mega Rayquaza ex: the confirmed card data

The official reveal on June 25 gave us complete card text, translated from the Japanese printing (English wording may differ slightly at release):

• Mega Rayquaza ex is a Colorless Basic with 280 HP under the Mega Evolution ex rule: it gives up 3 Prize cards when Knocked Out. Its Ability, Champion's Roar, triggers when played from hand to Bench: look at the top 4 cards of your deck and attach a Basic Energy you find there. Its attack, Storm Emeralda, costs Fire, Lightning, Colorless and does 50 damage times the number of Fire and Lightning Energy attached to all of your Pokémon. Six Energy across your board is a 300-damage swing; the ceiling scales with every attachment.
• The support engine is already visible. Talonflame ex (280 HP, Stage 2) drops itself from hand onto the Bench free via its Excitedive Ability whenever you have a Colorless Mega in play, and its Claw Hunt attack fetches any 2 cards. Adventuring Lantern pulls a Fire and a Lightning Energy from the deck. Mega Rayquaza Cap is a Tool that grants an Energy-accelerating attack to whatever wears it. Zinnia's Trust and MC's Hype round out the Trainer suite.
• Legendary Summit is the split Stadium: two physical cards that can only enter play together and count as one Stadium. While it is up, Colorless Pokémon Knocked Out by attack damage give up one fewer Prize card, for both players. A 3-Prize Mega Rayquaza ex that suddenly gives up 2 changes the math of every game it appears in.
• Mega Gallade ex gets a new Special Illustration Rare printing as Japan's sealed-tournament promo: tournament winners receive it by mail, and 2,000 additional players who run sanctioned home events are selected at random. Expect heavy demand for the English equivalent if one is announced.

Release calendar context

Delta Reign lands in the middle of the busiest quarter the hobby has seen: 30th Celebration launches September 16 and rolls out product waves through December 4, with its premium Ultra-Premium Collections sharing Delta Reign's November 6 date. Two chase-heavy releases on one day will split collector budgets, and the sets pull different audiences: anniversary nostalgia on one side, competitive Mega Rayquaza demand on the other.
