Pokémon TCG Stellar Crown: Every Card, Terapagos ex and Live Prices

Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet—Stellar Crown released on 13 September 2024 with 175 cards: 142 main set plus 33 secret rares numbered 143/142 to 175/142. It is the seventh main-series expansion of the era, it introduced Stellar Tera Pokémon ex, and it shipped in a real 36-pack Booster Display Box. Its two most valuable cards are Kanto starters, not its own mascot — Squirtle 148/142 at CA$165.49 and Bulbasaur 143/142 at CA$156.97 on Quaza Track at 25 July 2026 — and both left Standard on 10 April 2026.

What a Stellar Tera Pokémon ex actually is

Start with what did not change. Every Stellar Tera Pokémon ex prints the ordinary Tera rule, word for word: “As long as this Pokémon is on your Bench, prevent all damage done to this Pokémon by attacks (both yours and your opponent's).” That text is identical across all four cards and identical to Shrouded Fable's Revavroom ex. No new rule box, no new Prize count, and — the detail most often invented — no Stellar type in the TCG and no Stellar Energy card.

What is new is the attack. Bulbapedia: Stellar Tera Pokémon ex have “a uniquely powerful attack that is named after gemstones and requires three different types of Energy to use.” Four gemstones, four distinct Energy trios, no two the same, all by 5ban Graphics.

Crown Opal does 180 and then “During your opponent's next turn, prevent all damage done to this Pokémon by attacks from Basic non-[C] Pokémon” — one turn, Basic non-Colorless attackers only, not a blanket shield. The set is then engineered around its own Energy cost: Sparkling Crystal 142/142, an ACE SPEC Tool, makes a Tera attack cost 1 Energy less of any type; Crispin 133/142 fetches two Basic Energy of different types, one to hand and one attached; Glass Trumpet 135/142, playable only with a Tera Pokémon in play, attaches a Basic Energy from the discard pile to up to 2 Benched [C] Pokémon. The most consequential card is a Stadium — Area Zero Underdepths 131/142 gives each player with a Tera Pokémon in play an eight-card Bench. Grand Tree 136/142 is an ACE SPEC Stadium too — the second printed, on Bulbapedia's reckoning, after Shrouded Fable's Neutralization Zone six weeks earlier.

The set's two best cards left Standard while the set did not

Stellar Crown draws on the Japanese Stellar Miracle expansion plus the Pokémon Card Game Battle Academy Deck Kit, and those imports carry an older regulation mark. Bulbapedia and Limitless agree card for card: 167 cards are mark H and 8 are mark G — Venusaur ex 001/142, Pansear 021/142, Blastoise ex 030/142, Yamask 062/142, Garganacl ex 089/142, Bulbasaur 143/142, Squirtle 148/142 and Bravery Charm 175/142. That sums to 175.

The 2026 rotation, announced 9 January 2026, took effect on Pokémon TCG Live on 26 March 2026 and in person on 10 April 2026; it dropped mark G and left marks H, I, J and later legal. Six sets from this era went with it and Stellar Crown was not one of them, but its eight G-mark cards were. So the expansion is Standard legal as of 25 July 2026 while its two most valuable cards have been unplayable since 10 April. Note also what the Kanto representation is not: Venusaur ex, Blastoise ex, Bulbasaur and Squirtle are here, but no Charmander, Charmeleon or Charizard.

Kanto nostalgia outbids the mascot roughly two and a half to one on the USD medians above, and better than three to one on Quaza's Canadian prices: Terapagos was eight months old at release, Squirtle and Bulbasaur twenty-eight years. Dachsbun ex 169/142, a bread dog with no competitive relevance, trades about 1.4 times Terapagos ex 170/142 on those same USD medians. Slowpoke 057/142 by Teeziro is the collector footnote: a Common at US$3.68 against roughly US$0.05 for its neighbours, entirely because it is one panel of a documented nine-card mosaic.

175 cards: 142 main plus 33 secrets

The main set runs 001/142 to 142/142: 71 Commons, 39 Uncommons, 15 Rares, 14 Double Rares and 3 ACE SPEC Rares (Deluxe Bomb 134, Grand Tree 136, Sparkling Crystal 142). The 14 Double Rares are 10 Pokémon ex plus the 4 Stellar Tera. The 33 secrets are 13 Illustration Rares (143–155), 11 etched Ultra Rares (156–166), 6 Special Illustration Rares (167–172) and 3 gold Hyper Rares (173–175).

At 33 against 142 the secret range is 23% the size of the main set, an ordinary main-series proportion against 55% for the Shrouded Fable special set. Two pairs look like database errors and are not: Meditite appears twice in the main set, at 077/142 and 078/142, and Meltan twice at 102/142 and 103/142 — same name, different art, consecutive numbers.

Every product, including a real 36-pack box

Stellar Crown was sold in a standard 36-pack Booster Display Box. That box is confirmed four ways: Bulbapedia carries a dedicated display heading, PHD Games lists the SKU with an MSRP, PriceCharting has a Booster Box row, and Quaza tracks it. The 18-pack European half display is documented alongside it and tracked separately by Quaza, but no MSRP for it was retrieved. The relationship with Shrouded Fable is a mirror image: Stellar Crown has no Mini Tins, no boxed Illustration Collections and no Booster Bundle Display.

Where the market settled

The Scarlet & Violet era closed on 26 September 2025 and this set has finished re-pricing. Its Quaza set index is 111.94, up 11.9% over three months, mid-pack among the era's sixteen sets; the index is sealed-only, so the reading is that sealed Stellar Crown re-rated upward, not that every card did. Its seven-day move to 25 July 2026 is −0.5% against an era-wide −0.90%. The sealed spread is 4.8 times, CA$102.55 to CA$492.17, far tighter than the 11.9 times on Shrouded Fable, which is what a set with an ordinary booster box looks like. The European half display trades at CA$317.09, or 64% of the full box rather than half.

In USD, the Elite Trainer Box is the cleanest row: a PriceCharting US$144.25 against a US$145.00 median over 17 dated eBay sales, about 190% over its US$49.99 MSRP. The Pokémon Center box agrees exactly at US$170.00 across 29 sales. Two rows need a caveat instead of a number. The Booster Box is US$302.97 listed against a US$326.19 median over 18 sales bottoming at US$135.00, so it is a range: roughly 87% to 102% over the US$161.64 MSRP. The Booster Bundle has five dated sales at a US$79.00 median, 44% above PriceCharting's US$54.99, so the two methods disagree on a thin sample.

The most striking number in the set is graded. Terapagos ex 170/142 clears a median US$795.99 in PSA 10 against US$45.99 raw, roughly 17 times, across 29 separate dated sales in 30 days — too many to be a thin-data artefact. Squirtle 148/142 runs about 3.8 times and Bulbasaur 143/142 about 3.2, while Gulpin 154/142 and Zeraora 151/142 run 12.7 on five sales and 9.5 on sixteen. The 17-times figure is recorded as an observation; no cause is attributed, because none is evidenced.
