Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution Ascended Heroes launched January 30, 2026 as the largest English set ever printed: 295 cards, 217 in the main set plus 78 secret rares, beating Fusion Strike's 284-card record. It is a special set (no loose packs, product-only), sourced from Japan's MEGA Dream ex and Start Deck 100 Battle Collection. Six months in, it is also one of the hottest sealed markets we track. The chase cards
The 78-card secret rare section is the deepest in English TCG history. A dozen highlights below; filter by rarity, tap any card to zoom.

Secret rares run #218 to #295: 33 Illustration Rares, 14 Ultra Rares, 7 Mega Attack Rares (manga-style frames that take the pack's holo slot, katakana attack names), 22 Special Illustration Rares, and 2 Mega Hyper Rares. God Packs are confirmed: 3 Mega Attack Rares plus 7 Special Illustration Rares in one pack. Every non-ex Pokémon also has two reverse holos, one of them a Poké Ball variant (Love, Friend, Quick, Dusk) that carries through the whole evolution line.
The market since launch
Mega Gengar ex #284 is the set's defining card: raw copies trade around US$1,100 to $1,300 as of July 2026, and a Black Label BGS 10 sold for US$85,000, a record for the set that beat the previous Black Label Mega Dragonite ex sale by roughly $34,000. Sealed has followed: at the time of writing the Elite Trainer Box trades near CA$240 against a $49.99 USD MSRP, and the Pokémon Center ETB clears CA$600. The live column in the matrix below shows the current gap on every product.
